Together we can Build Michigan's Future.

For too long our elected officials have ignored us and have just done whatever they wanted to. Our elected officials have forgotten that we don't work for them, they work for us.

I am running for State Senate, because I want to be your voice in the state legislature. I promise you I will never forget that I work for you. I will give you your voice back in the Michigan Senate.

I am a firm believer that no one party, group, or individual has all the ideas. I have always been known as someone who is not only willing to listen to other people's ideas, but as someone who seeks out their ideas in order to solve a problem. Michigan can no longer afford to be a partisan state. I want your ideas, thoughts, and suggestions on how to make Michigan better.

Save Michigan from the Healthcare Bill

Several state legislatures are putting forth, or have passed, legislation that makes it illegal for the government to mandate that a citizen purchase any product, including health insurance.

Let me make this very clear... If I am elected to the Michigan Senate, I will propose, and support, legislation in Michigan that would make it illegal for the government to mandate that a citizen purchase any product, including health insurance. We can keep Michigan from being crushed by the Healthcare legislation. Please help support my campaign. Remember, a vote for me, is a vote against the Federal Healthcare plan.

It's All About Spending Wisely

There are those who will ask, "How do you plan on paying for all of the ideas you have, while still cutting taxes across the board for individuals and businesses?" My answer is, "If I am successful in getting jobs back to Michigan by cutting taxes, then more people will be able to find work. With more people going back to work, more money will come into the state."

We have to make Michigan a JOBS leader again. Cutting taxes on individuals and businesses is only the first step. Developing incentives for individuals to go to, or back to, college is another.

What we all have to understand is that Michigan has plenty of money coming in to the state every year in taxes. The problem is that our elected officials spend our money foolishly. By just re-directing the money Michigan already brings in to those areas that are most important Michigan would end up with a surplus of funds, and could easily afford the tax cuts I am proposing. It's all really a matter of spending the money Michigan receives every year, wisely.
